About the Role
The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional resident experience by maintaining high standards of waste management, cleaning, minor repairs, decoration, and general maintenance tasks. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive Community team to ensure cleanliness and upkeep across the property and grounds. Key responsibilities include managing waste and recycling operations, maintaining bin rooms and routes, supporting minor repairs and decoration, and liaising with contractors and external suppliers. You will assist with community events, support key management for security, and help maintain statutory testing records. The role requires a proactive approach to health and safety and the ability to respond effectively to maintenance requests and incidents. You will also ensure gardens and grounds are well maintained, clean, tidy, and hazard free, working closely with external contractors as needed.

Experience
Previous experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or a similar role is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and work as part of a team is crucial.

You have good communication skills to interact effectively with residents, colleagues, and contractors. You are able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering excellent service. Flexibility to attend calls outside office hours as required is important.
