About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual to join the Waste & Recycling Team as a Waste Collection Assistant. As part of a small crew, you will need good communication and customer service skills to engage with colleagues and members of the public in a polite and professional manner. You must be a team player, quick learner and able to carry out a range of duties including the use of vehicle in-cab devices, moving, handling and loading refuse, recycling, garden and food waste. You will be expected to work with minimum supervision. The role involves operating machinery and heavy manual labour, so you must be physically fit and mobile.
