About the Role
As a Waste Management Operative, you will be responsible for utilizing an electric towing vehicle (TUG) to collect and tow 1100L waste bins including general waste, dry mixed recycling, and cardboard bins. Your duties will include collecting bins from site venues (back of house and storage areas), transporting them to the waste compound, emptying bins into compactors, and returning them to their original locations. You will operate general waste and dry mixed recycling compactors, as well as a cardboard baler, and complete all necessary forms. Monitoring and managing the waste compound housekeeping and reporting any issues from venues or collection points will also be part of your role. Manual handling of 120L food and glass bins to and from collection points is required. This is an active role requiring physical fitness and attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and safely.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.

You must have the right to work in the UK and hold a full driving licence, which is essential for this role. You should be physically fit as the position is active and involves manual handling. Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks are important qualities for success in this role.
