The primary purpose of this role is to control and minimise process, line, and HFI spoilage in collaboration with PHC (Personal and Home Care) production plants. You will develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, formulate action plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Supporting plant managers on goals of efficiency and cost reduction is a key aspect of this position.
This role involves leading, coaching, and controlling spoilage reduction across production areas and working on HFI reduction projects. You will collaborate with plants to identify manufacturing process improvements, map unit needs, and request financial resources via Capex and Opex management. Working closely with the Global Process, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, you will implement and improve best practices globally.
Additional responsibilities include implementing equipment changes to enhance efficiency and quality, supporting CAPEX project creation by defining budgets and planning, monitoring results and trends, and promoting a culture of safety, environment, health, quality, and the 5 S's in the workplace. You will encourage adherence to standards and practices of excellence to achieve and sustain targets.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in spoilage and waste optimisation and reduction projects
- Minimum 5 years in problem solving activities and leading cross-functional teams and projects
- Minimum 5 years influencing and coaching cross-functional teams in process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Experience in industrial process analysis with a systemic approach and knowledge of continuous improvement tools
- Strong technical analysis skills to evaluate and optimize spoilage potentials across production stages
- Good computer skills with ability to manage data digitally
- Working knowledge of project management, cross-functional collaboration, and industry standards
- Familiarity with operational excellence tools for identifying and implementing process improvements

Qualifications
