As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all environmental conditions and critical building systems are maintained to the highest standard throughout the site. Your duties will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works on all water systems, including cooling towers, boilers, and water softeners. You will perform water sampling and chemical analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, optimize water treatment processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, and maintain accurate records of all activities.

Key responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, attending reactive mechanical and plumbing works within service level agreements, maintaining mechanical installations, and supporting the wider engineering team during emergency calls. You will also provide exceptional client service, communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, and assist in training clients and staff on water treatment best practices and safety procedures.

Experience
Experience in water treatment engineering or related maintenance roles is preferred. Familiarity with water treatment systems such as cooling towers, boilers, and water softeners is advantageous. Experience with reactive mechanical and plumbing works is beneficial.

Qualifications
Formally trained in City & Guilds Water Treatment Legionella Awareness Training is required. Qualifications related to Steam and Pressure Systems are advantageous. Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with industry standards is essential.
