About the Role
Statkraft, Europe's largest generator of renewable energy, is seeking an experienced Wind Farm Technician to join their Operations team. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of wind farm assets, maximising performance and energy generation. Responsibilities include day-to-day maintenance and servicing of wind turbine generators across multiple brands, carrying out planned and corrective maintenance, and adhering to the highest safety standards. Working closely with the Site Manager and Lead Technician, you will help deliver contractual commitments, meet operational targets, and uphold Statkraft's standards of performance, quality, and safety. You will foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-first working environment, execute maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding activities on Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) and Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment, and utilise maintenance systems and reporting tools to support continuous improvement. Promoting a strong health and safety culture, including the authority to stop work when necessary, is essential. Participation in all required operational, technical, and safety training programmes is expected, along with maintaining relevant authorisations and competencies.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working with multi-brand wind turbine generators and Balance of Plant equipment. Competent in high-voltage operations related to Balance of Plant activities. Ability to interpret and work from electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications
Full UK driving licence required. Relevant authorisations and competencies including AT and SAP status must be maintained. Participation in all required operational, technical, and safety training programmes is mandatory. Eligibility for security clearance and authorisation is required due to the nature of the infrastructure managed.
