About the Role
We are expanding our EU team and seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to provide critical advice on the condition of wind turbine assets, focusing on main bearings and gearboxes to ensure efficiency and safety. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and expertise in the renewable energy industry, working on diverse projects both offshore and onshore across Europe. Key responsibilities include conducting asset integrity inspections, installing condition monitoring hardware, managing sensor installation projects with preparation of RAMS and subcontractor coordination, supporting failure analysis and consulting projects with on-site engineering expertise, and preparing high-quality customer reports to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in technical roles focused on mechanical or electrical engineering
- Prior experience in the wind industry is advantageous
- Experience with borescope inspections or complex mechanical systems such as jet engines or gas turbines is desirable

- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare and present detailed reports
- Proactive problem solver with a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Genuine interest in hands-on engineering, particularly wind turbine technology
- Ability to work at height and on-site in wind turbines, including offshore locations
- Able to work shifts including weekends and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages (Spanish, German, French) are a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or a time-served apprenticeship with HNC/HND qualification
- GWO certification is desirable
