As a Graduate in our Intelligent Infrastructure teams, you will contribute to projects that use data, digital technologies and innovative solutions to improve how infrastructure is planned, delivered and operated. The team focuses on improving operational and safety performance of transportation networks, including new mobility aspects such as human-centred design, connectivity, cyber security and zero emission vehicles (ZEVs).

You will be supported by experienced consultants, engineers and digital specialists, gaining exposure to real-world challenges. Your work will include analysing data, developing digital solutions, supporting asset management strategies, using industry-leading software and analytical tools, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and helping solve complex infrastructure challenges through technology and innovation.

Our two-year Graduate Development Programme offers structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience to build the skills, experience and professional network needed to thrive at the start of your career.

Experience
No prior professional experience is required. Enthusiasm for digital technology, infrastructure and innovation is essential.

About you
You will be curious, collaborative and motivated to solve complex challenges for clients. Comfortable working with others, sharing ideas and learning from specialists across project teams. You will take ownership of your work and development while creating value for clients. You actively seek opportunities to develop your technical and digital skills across infrastructure sectors. You have an interest in digital technology, computer science, systems engineering, data, infrastructure, human-centred design and innovative solutions to improve infrastructure planning, delivery and operation. You are interested in using data, analytics and emerging technologies to improve sustainability, resilience and performance of infrastructure.

Qualifications
You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. You will be looking to start work in April or September 2027. Degree backgrounds considered include but are not limited to engineering, computer science, data science, digital technology, infrastructure-related disciplines and human-centred design.
