About the Role
Our 5-year apprenticeship provides you with the knowledge, experience, and qualification needed to start a career as an Environmental Advisor. You will gain hands-on experience working at the UK’s leading Engineering and Services business, contributing to a variety of exciting projects across the built environment, water, infrastructure, and power sectors. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on the job, learning through practical experience.
As part of the team, you will assist in delivering environmental strategy, maintain and update tailored Aspects & Impacts Registers for relevant sites, and support internal communication and environmental awareness activities. You will help complete environmental audits of priority sites, assist with database maintenance, manage non-conformances ensuring prompt resolution, and help capture and report waste data including type, weight, and disposal routes. Additionally, you will support internal operational environmental training and engage professionally with clients and various stakeholders. You may also provide ad-hoc assistance on other projects as needed.

Qualifications
Essential GCSEs:
- English (grade C/4 or above)
- Science (grade C/4 or above)
- Two other subjects (grade C/4 or above)
A Levels:
- STEM subject (grade C or above)
- Two other subjects (grade C or above)

Experience
No prior experience is required; however, relevant qualifications and experience will be considered to adjust the apprenticeship accordingly.
About You
You should be prepared to work at the office and undertake site visits, be flexible for early starts and travel away from home when necessary, and develop strong working relationships with talented industry professionals. A full UK driving licence is required.
