About the Role
Join Forestry England, a passionate team of foresters, professionals and experts dedicated to growing the nation’s forests for everyone. As an Arborist within the Tree Team at Westonbirt, you will be part of a team of seven responsible for Arboriculture Operations. You will work closely with other staff members to develop and ensure the health of the Arboretum's diverse flora species. Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, is one of the most beautiful and important plant collections in the world, containing over 15,000 specimens representing 2,500 taxa from across the temperate world. The Arboretum plays a vital role in research and conservation, including species of global conservation concern. It is also a major visitor attraction in the Southwest, welcoming over 550,000 visitors annually. Your work will contribute to maintaining this unique landscape and supporting Forestry England’s vision to be a world leader in trees, inspiring people through conservation, education and participation.

Relevant experience in arboriculture or related fields is desirable to support the health and maintenance of diverse tree species within the Arboretum.
