About the Role

As Assistant Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating a team to develop and maintain information requirements and standards, managing processes within a common data environment, and overseeing the delivery of the information management function for project teams. You will provide support throughout the project lifecycle, advising and implementing processes described within the ISO19650 series, ensuring information is produced and assured for digital delivery. Your role includes effective communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, ensuring security protocols are followed, monitoring digital handover to completion, and participating in industry events to stay current with BIM developments. You will support construction sequencing strategies, governance and assurance processes, cost plan preparation from information models, object library development, and the creation of BIM execution plans and information requirements in line with ISO 19650. Additionally, you will assist in producing information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources, support the production of Information Models (pre-RIBA Stage 3), and help upskill client teams and project managers through BIM knowledge sharing sessions. Collaboration with Mace PM and Design teams on procedural compliance and contributing to the net zero carbon transition are also key aspects of this role.
Experience
Experience working with Autodesk Desktop Products, Validation and Verification Tools, and Visualisation Tools is required. Knowledge and practical application of ISO19650 series and BIM processes are essential.

Qualifications
Level 3 qualifications or equivalent, such as A level, access to higher education diploma, advanced apprenticeship, AS level, international Baccalaureate diploma, level 3 award, certificate, diploma, ESOL, national certificate, national diploma, NVQ, or T Level.
