We are seeking a suitably qualified Associate Director, Landscape Architect with a diverse track record to join our London Landscape & Urban Design team. We are a passionate and motivated team with offices across the UK and Ireland. We value integrity and professionalism aligned with creativity and vision. As part of the UK and Ireland Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and Ireland, becoming an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious and friendly team.

As a Landscape Planner you would lead, author and co-ordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments. In a Landscape Architect role you would lead on design projects, including urban realm and mixed-use developments, through all LI/RIBA stages, generally working in a BIM level 2 environment. You will support the continued development of relationships with existing and new clients in both public and private sectors, prepare bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects, and lead, manage and delegate project work to junior team members.

This is a client-facing role involving design advice, leading workshops and stakeholder events. You will also join internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation, excellence and thought leadership.

Requirements

Experience
- Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
- Proven success delivering landscape and urban design projects from initial site analysis and concept design through to detailed design, including production of information for planning and construction.
- Experience working in a BIM level 2 environment.
- Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley software and Adobe Creative Suite.

About you
- Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills with fluent spoken English.
- Ability to lead, manage and delegate project work effectively.
- Client-facing experience including design advice, leading workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Motivated, creative and collaborative team player with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
- Postgraduate Diploma or Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
