About the Role
This role sits within one of Mace's largest Business Units, Public, Science & Technology. You will be the Lead MEP Planner on a major datacentre project in West London, accountable for all MEP planning functions across the entire project. You will ensure that the project and tenders within the portfolio are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored. You will lead the deployment and implementation of the business’s planning and project controls procedures across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities include advising on complex requirements and communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively; managing planning and scheduling delivery of medium to high complexity projects and programmes; overseeing planning, scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), and project controls methodologies; and influencing complex requirements while maintaining effective communication with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
You will create plans and analyse trends using numerical and statistical techniques, support senior management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development activities. You will lead the planning team, providing leadership and direction through managers and team members, inspiring and empowering individuals to deliver high quality standards and outputs. Additionally, you will undertake tasks required to fulfil project and assignment requirements, and provide performance management, technical and career development, and coaching.

Experience
Extensive experience in the successful planning of MEP projects and programmes. Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise specific to MEP. Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams. Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders. Strong commercial and financial acumen.
About you
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders. Skilled in advising on complex requirements and delivering corrective measures. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations shape project outlooks. Proven leadership skills to inspire and empower teams to deliver high quality outputs.
Qualifications
Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
