You’ll be responsible for managing PMO and Project Controls delivery, ensuring strong governance, performance management and successful outcomes across assigned commissions. This includes developing and implementing robust controls frameworks, managing cost, schedule, risk, change and reporting. You will build trusted client relationships, providing strategic advice and subject matter expertise. Developing high-performing teams, championing best practice, supporting net zero goals and driving continuous improvement will be key aspects of your role.
Championing a culture of safety, quality, sustainability and inclusion, ensuring compliance and wellbeing remain at the heart of delivery is essential. You will direct strategic PMO and Project Controls delivery, providing expert guidance and driving successful client outcomes. Additionally, you will shape business strategy, strengthen stakeholder relationships and promote best-in-class service excellence. Developing high-performing teams through mentoring, talent development, innovation and knowledge sharing will be a core focus.
Experience
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the infrastructure sector.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Experience of working client-side as well as within a consultancy.
