About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. This role is at the forefront of delivering complex projects and programmes focused on low-carbon technologies and infrastructure, increasing capacity on the electricity network and connecting new generation and storage into the grid.
Working closely with client and contractor teams, you will manage and drive project controls activities on major projects and programmes. Responsibilities include setting up project controls functions, delivering day-to-day services, and continuously improving operations to enable greater productivity and performance across the portfolio.
This role involves managing safe, high-quality, and compliant project delivery while promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and strong HSE standards. You will drive performance across key assignments by ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring aligned with business objectives. Supporting strategic development, governance, and responsible decision-making across functions and business units is essential.
You will foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and strong stakeholder relationships to enable people and projects to excel. Managing effective planning, scheduling, and project controls using recognised methodologies and tools, providing clear analysis, advice, and corrective actions to stakeholders and clients are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will manage and develop a high-performing planning team and influence client decisions and outcomes.
Mace values safety first, client focus, integrity, and creating opportunities for people to excel. The company champions a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment and supports flexible, part-time, and hybrid working options where suitable.
