About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) O&M Service Engineer to join Hyosung UK Limited and support our UK BESS projects. The role focuses on the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will be involved in both fieldwork and home-office tasks, ensuring safe and efficient system operation in line with contract obligations. Key responsibilities include reviewing technical maintenance documentation and drawings, supporting planning activities, and providing emergency corrective maintenance support. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the energy transition sector within a company undergoing significant growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Renewable Energy Systems, proven experience in Operations and Maintenance, and preferably training on Battery systems and PCS-specific equipment.

Experience
- Solid experience in operation and maintenance within the Renewables or Power Sector industry
- Experience in Energy Storage/BESS projects is highly advantageous
- Experience with HV operations is beneficial

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong understanding and training on LV systems, Inverters, Energy Management Systems, and Batteries
- ECS/CSCS card or eligibility to obtain one
- Working knowledge of UK HSE regulations and safe working practices
- Full UK driving licence
