About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at FCC Environment, you will spearhead growth within the waste and recycling sector, identifying and targeting potential clients with an annual spend ranging from £60,000 to £1,000,000. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. You will generate new leads within your designated territory, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to secure new business.
You will manage your own pipeline, diary, and KPIs to achieve sales targets, collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored waste management solutions, and stay up to date with industry regulations, environmental policies, and innovations.

Experience
Proven experience in sales, business development or account management is essential. Ideally, experience within the waste management or environmental services sector.
About you
Strong understanding of recycling, sustainability and waste management practices. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, confident and results-driven. Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
