About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Climate & Sustainability Project Manager to join the Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Strategy Team at Marsh, based in our London office. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week onsite and up to two days from home. You will lead and manage projects within the team, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of climate and sustainability initiatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners, you will drive initiatives that help clients navigate climate and sustainability challenges. Your daily duties will include project planning and execution, climate and sustainability strategy development, stakeholder engagement, communication, monitoring, and reporting. This role is suitable for an experienced Project Manager from the insurance sector seeking a new opportunity in climate and sustainability, or an experienced client-facing insurance professional looking to transition into project management with a passion for sustainability and climate work.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets for climate and sustainability initiatives within Marsh. Coordination and collaboration across Marsh McLennan companies and geographies, as well as with external partners, will be key to meeting project objectives. You will monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. Ownership of project outcomes, regular updates, and clear communication of milestones to stakeholders are essential. Staying current with climate and sustainability issues and regulatory requirements will enable you to develop and implement insurance and advisory-related strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. You will also support Marsh and Marsh McLennan's ambitions in the climate risk space through research and analytics, build and maintain stakeholder relationships, and communicate project goals and outcomes through reports and presentations. Additionally, you will collect and analyse data related to initiative adoption, climate resilience, and other performance metrics.

Experience
- Background or experience in the commercial insurance industry
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Experience in climate, sustainability, or ESG fields is highly desirable
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and public speaking is a plus
