About the Role
Join Forestry England, a passionate team dedicated to growing the nation’s forests for everyone. As a Community Ranger, you will work closely with local communities to ensure that recreational facilities are well maintained and welcoming to all. Your role will involve running volunteer sessions, communicating upcoming forestry operations, carrying out trail and facility checks, and responding to enquiries via email, face to face, or phone. You will be the visible and approachable local face of Forestry England, helping to create amazing places and experiences while supporting sustainable forestry and wildlife habitats. This fixed-term appointment runs until 31 March with the possibility of extension.

Strong communication skills are essential as you will be the local face of Forestry England, responding to enquiries and promoting forestry activities. Qualifications
