You can embrace your curiosity in a culture that celebrates new ideas and diverse perspectives. You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.
We are currently seeking an ambitious and dynamic consultant to join our award-winning environmental due diligence team in our London office. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering environmental liability advice to real estate clients, assisting them in understanding potential risks and opportunities at the point of transaction such as acquisition, divestment, and refinancing.
As the largest consultancy provider of environmental due diligence in the UK, our team works across a wide variety of projects ranging from single high-profile buildings in major cities to very large UK-wide portfolios of assets. You will be encouraged and supported to actively contribute to team development and initiatives, and you will be assigned a senior mentor to guide your career and professional development.
A little more about your role:
- Delivery of desk studies and Phase I Assessments, including UK-wide site visits (typically half-day commitments)
- Autonomy to manage due diligence projects from commissioning and client liaison to project delivery and invoicing
- Collaboration with team members and wider business to provide robust technical advice on complex sites with significant potential liabilities
- Opportunities to build your skill set beyond environmental due diligence through involvement in business development, project budgeting, and business profile management, depending on your interests
Experience
- Relevant Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent (Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geography, Geology, etc.)
- Previous experience delivering environmental due diligence or contaminated land assessments (such as Phase I Assessments), ideally within a consultancy setting
- Commitment to delivering technically robust, diligent reporting
- Experience presenting report findings directly to clients in a timely and clear manner
- Demonstrable ability to deliver projects under tight timescales
About you
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion and enthusiasm for self-development and being a contributing member of a supportive team
