About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a Contract Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Heating & Hot Water Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing a defined group of contracts covering Heating, Hot Water, Gas and Renewable Technologies. Your role will help deliver essential asset compliance services, ensuring our homes and buildings meet relevant regulations while providing safe, reliable and value for money services for our residents.

You will support the monitoring of contractor performance by collecting and presenting performance data, maintaining accurate property and asset records, and coordinating contract review meetings. Additionally, you will assist in delivering planned preventative maintenance, responsive repairs and equipment replacement programmes, ensuring all services meet required standards.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Contract Officer or in a similar role supporting the management or delivery of asset compliance contracts.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience using performance and complaints data to identify improvements and ensure contractual compliance.

- Ability to gather information, diagnose problems, draw logical conclusions and suggest practical solutions.
- Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with contractors, tenants and staff across different functions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and able to work on your own initiative.
- Sound understanding of financial controls.
