About the Role
Knight Frank is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate ESG Reporting Manager to support our growing ESG reporting function. You will lead the delivery of high-quality ESG reporting and disclosures for our global real estate professional services business, ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely reporting aligned with voluntary ESG frameworks and emerging regulatory requirements. This pivotal role involves coordinating cross-functional data collection, managing corporate ESG data systems, and supporting the integration of climate strategy and carbon reduction targets into internal reports and disclosures. You will line manage a team member, supporting their development and ensuring effective day-to-day support across reporting workstreams. You will develop and deliver our regulatory and voluntary ESG reporting programme, ensuring compliance with mandatory disclosure requirements while effectively communicating ESG performance, priorities, and progress to internal and external stakeholders. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the UK and global business, you will collect data on ESG-related topics, support UK reporting requirements, and provide governance and oversight of non-UK data inputs for global reporting and disclosures. Additionally, you will support the development and execution of our global net zero strategy aligned with science-based targets, providing analytical insight to drive performance and embed climate ambitions across reporting and strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on and strategic position suited to a sustainability professional with 5–7 years of experience and a strong understanding of the ESG landscape, ideally within the built environment or professional services sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of corporate ESG disclosures across voluntary and mandatory frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD, ISSB/IFRS, CSRD, SECR)
- Oversee development and rollout of ESG data management systems, working with internal IT and partners to ensure fit-for-purpose and scalable solutions
- Coordinate ESG data collection, validate information, and ensure governance, consistency, and quality across multiple jurisdictions
- Advise on carbon management and emissions reduction, embedding climate and carbon performance tracking into ESG reporting aligned with net-zero goals
- Support production of external-facing materials such as Annual ESG/Sustainability Report and climate disclosures
- Stay abreast of ESG regulations and market expectations to advise on disclosure readiness and reporting improvements
- Act as main contact for external ESG raters and disclosure platforms and coordinate third-party data assurance
- Line manage one ESG team member, providing guidance, development, and oversight
- Contribute to internal ESG communications and training to improve awareness of data requirements, progress, and reporting outcomes
Experience
- 5–7 years in ESG reporting or sustainability roles, ideally within professional services or real estate
- Broad understanding of ESG issues relevant to global real estate and professional services, including climate change, energy and carbon management, biodiversity, social impact, diversity and inclusion, governance, responsible business practices, and emerging trends
- Proven experience managing ESG disclosures aligned to key voluntary and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, SECR)
- Strong knowledge of carbon and energy management, climate reporting including Scope 1–3 emissions, net-zero strategies, GHG Protocol, and SBTi
- Experience implementing or managing ESG data platforms or digital reporting systems (e.g., Sphera, Microsoft Sustainability Manager)
- Excellent project management skills with ability to coordinate complex workflows across teams and regions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experienced in engaging senior stakeholders and presenting ESG data clearly to non-experts
- Demonstrated people management or mentoring experience, capable of leading and supporting junior team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI); experience with data assurance providers is advantageous
