Hours
Structured working day with an average of 4 jobs per day and approximately 35 minutes travel time between appointments. On-call rota of one week in five with on-call payments. Work schedule planned several weeks in advance to support work-life balance.

Salary
Base salary of £38,993 with uncapped earning potential. On-call payment of £330 per on-call week. Industry-leading installation bonus of £25 per meter or £50 per dual installation after completing a minimum of four installations per day. Enhanced overtime rates for Sunday working. Total OTE of £42,293 with base salary and mandatory on-call payments. About the Role
As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will represent Utilita in customers’ homes, installing smart meters safely and professionally across domestic properties. You will deliver a customer-first approach, ensuring a positive experience while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service. You will receive first-class training at the award-winning training academy in Warrington, followed by ongoing mentoring and support. Utilita fosters a connected and supportive team environment through regular manager check-ins, access to technical experts, and collaborative colleague networks.

Experience
At least 12 months experience working as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer.

Reliable and professional with a strong customer service focus. Able to work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Comfortable working in customers’ homes and adapting to a structured schedule. Motivated to achieve targets and maximise earning potential.

Qualifications
Smart Metering qualifications including CCN1 or CMA1 and MET1, or equivalent. Valid full UK driving licence.
