About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the launch of the newly redesigned Grosvenor Square. As part of the Learning & Engagement team, you will support the development and delivery of a dynamic programme of activities from the new learning hub, engaging a wide range of audiences with the site’s unique wildlife and heritage. The role combines public events, family learning and community engagement, with a focus on co-creating inclusive experiences that connect under-represented groups with nature.

You will develop and deliver a varied programme of public events including workshops, guided walks and seasonal activities focused on the site’s wildlife and heritage. You will create and run engaging family learning activities for children aged 0–11, including weekend, holiday and early years sessions. Planning and coordinating seasonal family open days to increase visitor engagement and footfall will be a key part of your role.

Working with local communities and partners, you will co-create inclusive activities that reduce barriers to participation. You will build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, stakeholders and local networks around Grosvenor Square. Collaboration with internal colleagues will ensure alignment with wider Learning & Engagement programmes across sites.

You will source and manage external facilitators and partners to support high-quality event delivery and promote activities through marketing channels, including social media content, listings and liaison with the Communications team. You will manage the practical delivery of events, including planning, set-up, facilitation, health & safety, and pack-down.

Monitoring and evaluating engagement activities by collecting data and feedback to support impact measurement and reporting will also be part of your responsibilities.
