
Location
Head Office (Victoria), London with occasional site travel typically 1-2 days per week; remaining work from home.
Hours
35 hours per week. Hybrid working available with flexible working requests accepted from day one, including compressed hours. Part-time applications working 4 days per week will also be considered.

£49,747 per annum

About the Role
Are you passionate about shaping the future of nature recovery in London? London Wildlife Trust is seeking a Head of Strategic Projects to join the Nature Recovery team and lead a diverse portfolio of ambitious projects that restore habitats, support communities and inspire the next generation of nature recovery leaders. Reporting to the Director of Nature Recovery, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering woodland and waterways restoration, ecological monitoring, and youth skills development initiatives.
You will oversee established projects, support the development of new nature recovery initiatives, and help strengthen and monitor the impact of our work. Key responsibilities include leading and supporting your team to deliver practical and innovative nature recovery work across London, overseeing the Keeping it Wild traineeship to help young people build skills and pathways into nature recovery careers, shaping new projects and partnerships aligned with the Trust’s long-term ambitions, supporting ecological monitoring and evidence-led approaches, and building collaborative relationships with communities, funders and partners to ensure lasting impact for wildlife and people.
Experience
Significant experience managing complex projects and leading teams, with strong programme leadership and partnership skills.
