About the Role

As an Engineer reporting to the Consumer Engineering Manager – Metered Estates through the Lead Technician, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and servicing LPG equipment. You will be the trusted face customers rely on, ensuring their LPG systems operate safely and efficiently.
You will start your journey working alongside experienced LPG engineers, gaining hands-on experience and training at a dedicated LPG training centre. Your daily tasks will include routine maintenance, inspections, installations of LPG vessels, pipework, and auxiliary equipment, as well as testing, purging, commissioning, and certification of equipment. This role involves some heavy manual handling, for which full training will be provided. Confidence in reading installation plans and drawings is essential.

Experience
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work overtime as required. Experience working independently and as part of a team is essential.

About you
- Hold a current UK category B driving licence (light vehicle up to 3.5 tonne)
- Willingness to routinely work away from home Monday to Friday
- Good verbal and written communication and influencing skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow installation drawings and plans
- Comfortable with some heavy manual handling (training provided)

Qualifications
- Full ACS Certification including Regulators, Meters and Vessels
- Current CSCS card
