About the Role

Join Tetra Tech’s NALO (Noise, Air Quality, Lighting and Odour) team, a multidisciplinary group of over 30 environmental consultants delivering expert surveys, assessments, and advice across a wide range of projects. You will work on air quality assessments for developments ranging from small housing schemes to major infrastructure projects, protecting residents and sensitive ecological species from air pollution impacts. Your role will involve undertaking surveys, modelling using innovative computer-based techniques, and preparing assessments related to traffic pollution, industrial emissions, and odour. Occasionally, environmental surveys may require overnight stays or weekend work. We are recruiting across various levels up to Principal, with responsibilities including project management, quality assurance reviews, and mentoring junior team members. Experience
- Proven track record in air quality consultancy with demonstrable skills and project examples
- Experience using ADMS Roads modelling software
- Experience with AERMOD and GIS software preferred but not essential
- Project management experience
- Experience undertaking peer reviews for quality assurance
- Experience collaborating with clients and external organisations
- Ability to interpret geospatial data accurately
- Comfortable using technical equipment in the field with minimal supervision
- Full manual UK driving licence essential
