About the Role
Shield Safety Group, a leading UK Environmental Health and Safety consultancy, is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Consultancy Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Environmental Health Practitioners (EHPs). Reporting directly to the Head of Consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic delivery and enhancing client safety culture across retail, hospitality, leisure and food manufacturing sectors. Your expertise will be key in delivering strategic guidance, embedding robust compliance systems, and helping clients achieve best-in-class Food Safety and Health & Safety performance. You will manage the delivery of high-quality consultancy services in Food Safety, Fire Safety and Health & Safety, act as a trusted advisor to major UK clients, and collaborate closely with Sales, Product and Commercial teams to support business growth. Maintaining quality and governance standards, coaching consultants, supporting CPD pathways, and providing insights to senior leadership will be central to your role.

Experience
- Qualified Environmental Health Practitioner (CIEH Registered, Chartered, EHRB or EHORB)
- Proven leadership experience with ability to coach, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team
- Strong client relationship skills with excellent commercial awareness
- Experience reporting to senior leadership and supporting organisational strategy
- Comfortable with remote and UK-wide field-based working

Qualifications
Qualified Environmental Health Practitioner status as above is essential.
