In this role, you will have a real and lasting impact on residents' daily lives, as well as on the environmental quality, sustainability and service delivery of new developments. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the lead officer providing technical advice, knowledge and expertise on waste planning and development control matters, including the validation and rejection of non-compliant development plans and proposals.
- Serving as the main point of contact for developers and planners, providing waste management advice and support from the inception of a planning application through to project completion.
- Collaborating with Waste Operations teams and housing providers to inspect newly built developments and ensure that waste management facilities are fit for purpose.
