Location
Central London with opportunities to cover Nationwide and Local contracts.

Hours
37.5 hours per week, with participation in a regular standby call out rota for out-of-hours emergency repairs and support. Occasional overnight stays and overseas travel may be required.

Salary
Negotiable, with a competitive base salary plus annual bonus.

About the Role
Join Yunex Traffic, a market leader in intelligent traffic solutions and pioneers in the EV charging market. As an EV Charging Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic, field-based team responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and support of fast, rapid, and ultra-rapid electric vehicle chargers. Your role will involve servicing, upgrading, and troubleshooting AC and DC EV chargers while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. You will conduct electrical testing and periodic inspections, manage vehicle stock levels, analyse data to optimise contract performance, and communicate effectively with contractors and customers both on-site and digitally. Additional responsibilities include completing product training, achieving National Highways Sector Scheme accreditation, and occasionally assisting engineers working on traffic signals and associated equipment. Requirements

Experience
- Experience working with low and medium voltage electrical systems.
- Experience working with IT equipment.
- Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors.
- Full driving licence and proximity to one of our depots.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Electrical experience relevant to the role.

Desirable:
- Level 3 Electrical qualification (e.g., EAL, City & Guilds).
- ECS Gold Card.
- City & Guilds 2391-52, 2921-31-32-33 or equivalent qualifications.
- 18th edition BS7671 qualification.
- Experience with photovoltaic panel systems and battery energy storage systems.
- HERS registered.
