Location
Marlow, beautiful country estate with staff accommodation in a lovely 3 bed cottage on site. All accommodation costs covered.

Hours
Generally Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Flexibility required to work longer hours and occasional weekends when the employer is in residence. Sleeping in staff accommodation every night is essential for security, except during holidays or booked time off when cover is arranged.

Salary
£75,000 - £80,000 gross per annum, negotiable depending on experience.

About the Role
Highly recommended position for an experienced gardener and housekeeper couple to care for a beautiful country house and garden. The employer requires complete peace of mind that both house and grounds are meticulously maintained. Duties include all housekeeping, general maintenance, and upkeep of the house and garden. There is one part-time gardener employed with additional help brought in as needed. When the employer is in residence, some family-style cooking (not dinner parties) may be required. Security is paramount, so a staff member must sleep on site every night. The role offers a supportive environment with a well-established team and excellent working conditions. Interviews are ongoing with a preferred start date of January/February 2027, though earlier start dates may be considered for the ideal couple.

Experience
Proven track record in both gardening and housekeeping roles. Experience working in private country houses or estates is highly desirable. Ability to manage and maintain gardens to a high standard and deliver meticulous housekeeping services.
