About the Role
Actemium E-Mobility, part of VINCI Energies, is expanding and seeking a skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer to join the team in the Manchester area. In this practical, customer-facing role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure across commercial and public sites. Your work ensures EV charge points remain safe, compliant, and fully operational, supporting the smooth operation of the UK’s charging network. Key responsibilities include commissioning, servicing, and repairing AC and DC EV charge points, diagnosing electrical and technical faults, completing accurate digital service reports, conducting inspections, preventative maintenance and compliance tests, adhering to wiring regulations and safety procedures, building strong customer relationships on-site, and supporting emergency callouts as required (with additional pay).
Experience
Proven electrical maintenance and testing experience is essential. Experience with EV chargers is beneficial but not required as full training will be provided.
About you
Professional communication and customer service skills. High levels of accountability and initiative with the ability to work independently without direct supervision. Self-motivated and reliable. Full UK driving licence is required.
Qualifications
ECS Gold Card (required). EV charger manufacturer certification will be provided through full training.
