About the Role
Join Anglian Water Services Limited as a Field Technician in Water Recycling Services, playing a vital role in safeguarding the environment, public health, and maintaining critical infrastructure. You will tackle issues in our network including blockages, odours, flooding, and incidents while delivering exceptional service levels to customers and adhering to environmental regulatory standards. As part of the standby roster, you will be ready to respond to additional out-of-hours work, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
Your duties will include operating a single person high pressure water jetting unit and specific CCTV equipment, helping to identify and promote repair work on our sewerage network. You will take ownership of investigating and offering first-time resolutions for sewerage issues encountered by customers, respond to incidents, and complete planned maintenance work. Accurate collation and recording of all site feedback through IT systems is essential. The role involves predominately lone working and daily engagement with internal and external customers.

Experience
Experience or willingness to work outside in all weathers. Hands-on/manual experience is beneficial. Good IT literacy with the ability to confidently use handheld devices, mobile applications, and digital systems to record work activities, update job records, and communicate effectively.
About you
Ability to work autonomously using your own initiative. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and empathetically with customers during service disruptions, incidents, and challenging situations. Must be able to work within confined spaces and at height without restrictions. Maximum weight limit of 113 kilograms due to harness weight limits. Willingness to complete relevant occupational health checks including Hand-arm Vibration (HAV).
Qualifications
Full driving licence required. A 4.5 tonne licence is advantageous as the role will eventually require this; training will be provided if needed.
