About the Role
Discover the company where you will make a difference! Our top priority is to find and fix any leaks in our system – and to help customers plug leaks at home and at work too. Every day we have 300 people finding and fixing leaks and spend £14 million each year driving down leakage. As a Leakage Field Technician in Milton Keynes, your role is crucial; without you our water supply would suffer and there would be a huge impact for our customers. You will carry out a full range of leak detection activities whilst providing a first-class service to our customers. Responding to alarms and changes in statistical data, you’ll have a fully equipped van and travel to areas within the water network where potential leaks have been identified in order to resolve them within agreed timescales. This is a reactive and proactive role; you’ll support planned maintenance and be the first on the scene to repair unexpected leaks. Developing your leak detection skills every day, you’ll carry out sounding, correlating and use Enigma Correlating Noise Loggers to accurately detect water leaks on our network. As a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to: personal private health care, 23 days annual leave rising with length of service, company vehicle, flexible working, access to tools, uniform and PPE, a competitive pension scheme with Anglian Water double-matching your contributions up to 6%, a bonus scheme, and flexible benefits to support your wellbeing and lifestyle.

Experience
Ideally previous operational leakage experience including leak detection, resolving customer supply pipe leaks, distribution and leakage repair; however, full training will be provided.
About you
You’ll be enthusiastic, hardworking and ambitious with a real desire to drive your career forward. You must have excellent customer service skills, be a good communicator and have a passion for hands-on work. A willingness to work nights and weekends is essential. You will need a full driving licence as access to a company vehicle is provided.
Qualifications
You’ll need five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A* to C including English and Mathematics.
