About the Role

As a Forest Work Supervisor - Tree Safety, you will be based at the Coleford Office in the historic Forest of Dean, a complex woodland with a rich legacy and diverse habitats. Your role will support the Beat Forester in planning and implementing all aspects of Tree Safety management including surveys, specifying work, contractor supervision, and GIS editing/data management. The Forest of Dean Tree Safety programme is a vital and challenging task due to the mosaic of woodland, open habitats, and surrounding settlements. You will contribute to maintaining safe and sustainable forest environments while helping to create amazing places and experiences for the public to enjoy. Experience
Relevant experience in tree safety management, surveying, contractor supervision, and data management is essential. Experience working in complex woodland environments or similar forestry settings is highly desirable.
