About the Role
Join Forestry England, a passionate team dedicated to growing the nation’s forests for everyone. As a Forester focused on woodland creation, you will be part of the South district team working closely with the national woodland creation team to deliver ambitious woodland expansion projects. Your role will involve developing high-quality plans and coordinating forest operations on new woodland creation sites totaling approximately 234.31 hectares in Hampshire and Kent. You may also support other woodland creation projects across England, which could require travel and overnight stays. Together, we create vital wildlife habitats, improve air quality, and produce sustainable timber while providing amazing places and experiences for the public to enjoy.

Experience
Relevant experience in forestry, woodland creation, or related environmental management is desirable. Experience coordinating forest operations and working on large-scale woodland projects will be advantageous.

Qualifications
