Salary
£32,112 - £32,571 per annum (Scale 3). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role unless matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) with evidential proof.

As a Gardener, you will provide a high quality, customer focused and responsive service to Lewisham residents. Your main responsibility will be maintaining the shared green spaces on our estates, ensuring that communal gardens and green areas are clean, tidy, and pleasant for residents.

Key duties include maintaining communal gardens and green spaces, ensuring the safe use of chemicals, materials, and equipment, identifying and reporting any welfare or safeguarding concerns about vulnerable residents, and reporting nuisance, anti-social or criminal behaviour with evidence to support enforcement action. You will also be responsible for looking after and using appropriate uniform and personal protective equipment, including mobile phones, personal safety devices, and vehicles when appropriate.
