Salary
£32,112 - £32,571 per annum (Scale 3). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role unless matching current salary with evidential proof.

As a Gardener, you will provide a high quality, customer focused and responsive service to Lewisham residents by maintaining shared green spaces on our estates. You will take pride in ensuring that residents live in an environment that is clean, tidy, and pleasant.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining communal gardens and green spaces, ensuring the safe use of chemicals, materials, and equipment, identifying and reporting any welfare or safeguarding concerns about vulnerable residents, and reporting nuisance, anti-social or criminal behavior to support enforcement action. You will also be expected to look after and use appropriate uniform and personal protective equipment, including mobile phones, personal safety devices, and vehicles when appropriate.

Experience
No specific experience is stated as mandatory, but experience in gardening or grounds maintenance would be beneficial.

Qualifications
