In this role, you will take ownership of projects, delivering high-quality investigations, assessments, and reports that clients can trust. You will play an active role in improving processes, bringing ideas that enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Thriving in a collaborative team culture, you will contribute to outstanding work on both small specialist projects and large complex schemes.

Your responsibilities will include delivering a mix of site-based and office-based tasks across a variety of exciting and complex schemes, managing Phase I and Phase II ground investigations, remediation activities, and site operations. You will log exploratory holes, sample soil and water, monitor groundwater, and record results to UK Standards. Additionally, you will compile desk-study information, schedule lab testing, analyse data, and prepare reports. Overseeing groundworks such as earthworks, foundations, and ground improvement operations will also be part of your role, alongside coordinating with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors to keep projects running smoothly.

Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Geo-environmental Consultant, Engineering Geologist, or in ground investigation.

About you
Strong IT and report-writing skills with a collaborative and organised working style. Enthusiastic about continuous learning and motivated to work towards Chartership. Proactive, with a can-do mindset and confident communication skills when engaging with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications
A relevant degree in Geosciences, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Geotechnics, or related fields. An MSc is welcome but not essential.
