About the Role
TRC, Member of WSP, is a global environmental and engineering consulting firm with over 8,000 technical professionals worldwide. Our UK team provides core environmental consulting services including environmental due diligence, contaminated land investigation and remediation, geotechnical investigation, environmental planning and permitting, EHS management and compliance, and energy use reporting and reduction. We are seeking a Geo-Environmental or Geotechnical Graduate/Consultant to support project delivery and site investigations across the UK. This role involves supervising drilling and trial pitting contractors, performing field testing and sampling, groundwater and ground gas monitoring, and preparing detailed site investigation reports. The position offers opportunities for UK-wide travel and potential overseas assignments. You will be part of a team that combines science and technology to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions for clients in energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
Experience
Early career professional with experience in site investigations. Experience supervising drilling and trial pitting contractors and performing field testing is desirable.
About you
Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team. Strong problem-solving and report writing skills. Must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel extensively within the UK.
Qualifications
BSc or higher in geology, geo-environmental or geotechnical engineering discipline preferred. Postgraduate qualifications such as MSc are advantageous. Understanding of contaminated land guidance including LCRM, NHBC, CIRIA, Eurocode and British Standards is preferred.
