About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to shape a career as unique as you. Join our Geotechnical team in Cardiff and work on a variety of projects delivering technically sound geotechnical and geological assessments, reports, and design outputs. Your role will involve developing ground models, geotechnical interpretation, and design parameters to inform engineering solutions. You will undertake geotechnical analysis and design for slopes, retaining structures, foundations, and earthworks, as well as assessments of geological hazards. You will manage your own project tasks and work packages, ensuring quality, budget, and programme requirements are met. Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, you will act as a trusted technical contributor. You will also plan and supervise ground investigations, manage fieldwork activities, and interpret site data. Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and engineering geologists, you will share knowledge and contribute to the development of the wider team. Driving innovation in project delivery through sustainable design practices and the effective use of digital and 3D data solutions will be key to your success.
