About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial team at Liverpool City Council as a Graduate Environmental Health Officer. This fixed-term role is designed for graduates wishing to gain practical experience and complete the CIEH Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP) portfolio within 24 months. You will be at the heart of a passionate and dynamic department critical to delivering the Council's services. The role involves a wide range of regulatory functions including food hygiene inspections, reactive and proactive health and safety enforcement, infectious disease control, complaint investigations, sampling, and project work. You will manage your own workload and apply your professional skills and knowledge to improve standards across the city. Experience
Graduates with an accredited Environmental Health Degree (BSc, MSc, or equivalent) are invited to apply. Previous practical experience is not specified but a willingness to learn and develop professionally is essential.
