As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with your line manager to assist in the commercial administration, reporting and performance on a single large project or several smaller schemes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Learning to use the latest software tools to accurately report cost and value to the business unit
- Interpreting and critically evaluating expenditure reports produced by internal cost systems
- Assisting in the procurement of subcontract partners including preparation of bid enquiry documentation and critical evaluation of bids
- Producing subcontract documentation
- Assisting in the production and issue of commercial notices to both the Client and Subcontractors as required by contract and law
- Managing change in accordance with the form of contract, including production and submission of Compensation Event Quotations and maintaining detailed schedules of value
- Providing information to the Commercial team to assist in monthly payment applications to the Client
- Liaising with operational and engineering staff to maintain site records
- Collating and calculating information to assist the Commercial team in producing and maintaining a detailed 'cost to complete' including schedules of subcontractor liabilities
This role is available for a September 2026 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit both you and the business. You will be expected to work in and around the advertised locations, with potential travel to other projects and locations in the future, which may include overnight stays.

Experience
Applications are invited from graduates passionate about the industry who have achieved or are on track to achieve a Bachelor's or Master's degree in quantity surveying or a similar discipline prior to September 2026.

Qualifications
