About the Role
Beaverbrook Golf Club, a private members 18-hole luxury golf course, is seeking a talented and committed Assistant Greenkeeper to join their team. Located in the heart of the picturesque Surrey Hills, the course was designed by renowned architect David McLay Kidd in collaboration with 8-time major winner Tom Watson. The greenkeeping team maintains a highly conditioned course using the most up-to-date machinery. This role offers a strong focus on professional development with a generous training budget supporting further education, apprenticeships, certified industry training including PA certification and chainsaw use. There are opportunities to attend conferences such as BTME Continue to Learn and other in-house development events. This position is ideal for an experienced greenkeeper looking for a new challenge at a progressive and exclusive golf club.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience as a greenkeeper with excellent attention to detail and ability to produce a high standard of work. Good understanding of operating machinery.

Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Excellent time management and communication skills. A team player who can also use their own initiative. Flexible approach to work hours including weekend duties. A drive for continued personal development.

Qualifications
Ideally holds or is working towards an NVQ Level 2 greenkeeping qualification.
