About the Role
Join Old Thorns Hotel & Resort, a four-star hotel set in 400 acres of picturesque Hampshire countryside, as the Head Greenkeeper. You will lead and develop the Greenkeeping Team to maintain the highest standards of performance and teamwork. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily maintenance and presentation of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways and bunkers, managing seasonal maintenance programmes, turf health, irrigation, drainage, and pest and disease control. You will manage departmental budgets, resources and purchasing to ensure efficient operations while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Sustainability standards. Working closely with the Golf Team and wider resort staff, you will help deliver an outstanding golf experience for members and guests. Experience
Proven experience in greenkeeping with previous supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of turf management, horticulture and golf course management. Experience managing machinery, budgets and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications
Valid Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available). NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Sports Turf. PA 1, 2 and 6 spraying certificates. Chainsaw Licence.
