As Head of Forestry and Timber, you will lead Forestry England’s timber trading and forest management activities, maximising the value of forestry assets. Working closely with the Director of Operations - Forestry and Land Management, you will set the strategic direction to ensure a resilient, productive, and financially sustainable forestry estate that delivers high quality environmental outcomes and increases natural capital value.

Experience
Proven leadership experience in forestry, timber trading, or forest management is essential. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that balance financial sustainability with environmental outcomes is required.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications in forestry, environmental management, or related fields are desirable. Membership of professional bodies and commitment to continuing professional development will be supported.
