About the Role
Join Veolia as a Class 2 HGV Driver/Operative and play a vital role in delivering essential waste collection and recycling services to local communities. You will be responsible for driving to planned collection locations, loading recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle, and assisting with street department operations such as loading and sweeping. Daily vehicle checks and the use of onboard technology to complete work notes are key parts of the role. You will ensure compliance with all traffic laws and maintain a safe, clean work environment. Additionally, you will help keep carriageways clean and manage any spillages promptly. Experience
Previous experience as an HGV driver is preferred but not explicitly required; however, familiarity with vehicle checks and safe driving practices is essential.
