About the Role
When you see the world as we do, you see the chance to help the world take better care of its resources, and help it become a better place for everyone. Whether you’re looking to overhaul the industry, or just do a good day’s work, everyone at Veolia helps work alongside communities, look after the environment, and contribute to an inclusive culture. As a Transport Service Coordinator, you will manage day-to-day service delivery, including the dynamic allocation of work to vehicles and routes. You will communicate with customers and stakeholders, providing status updates and maintaining contact with drivers. Your role includes completing debriefs with frontline staff and reporting necessary actions or updates as required. You will engage face-to-face with drivers, supporting them to address any issues on route, report all safety concerns or container damage, and encourage ‘stop the job’ if it is unsafe to continue. Ensuring Veolia’s legal compliance on-site, including Working Time Directive (WTD), O’licence, and transport compliance, will be a key responsibility.
