About the Role
Join the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, to undertake the Specialist Certificates in Rock Gardens & Alpine Cultivation. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expert knowledge and practical skills in the cultivation and management of rock garden and alpine plants. You will work within one of the world’s leading botanical institutions, contributing to the care, conservation, and display of these specialized plant collections. The position involves hands-on horticultural work, supporting research and education initiatives, and collaborating with a team of passionate professionals dedicated to plant science and conservation.

Experience
Previous horticultural experience is desirable but not essential. A keen interest in alpine and rock garden plants is important.

Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong passion for plants and horticulture. You should be eager to learn and develop specialist skills in alpine cultivation. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant horticultural qualifications or experience in plant cultivation will be advantageous. Willingness to undertake further training and professional development as part of the role.
