About the Role
Join our Landscape Planning Talent Network at Stantec and be part of shaping sustainable, resilient environments across the UK. We are seeking talented Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners from Senior level through to Associate Director and Director level who are passionate about landscape planning, landscape and visual impact assessment, and influencing how places evolve. Our Landscape Architecture team plays a key role in landscape-led thinking, strategic planning, and environmental assessment, working across all stages of the planning process to help clients unlock development opportunities while enhancing landscape character, biodiversity, and community value.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects including urban regeneration, town centre renewal, new settlements, strategic masterplanning, tall buildings, residential and mixed-use developments, commercial schemes, and infrastructure and energy projects.

- Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)
- Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIA)
- Preliminary landscape and visual appraisals
- Strategic green infrastructure planning
- Landscape capacity, sensitivity and character assessments
- Green Belt and Strategic Gap assessments
- Landscape-led masterplanning and strategic design input
- Contributions to Design Codes, Design and Access Statements, and Vision Documents
About you
Creative and commercially aware Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners passionate about delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact. You may be Chartered through the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or progressing through the Pathway to Chartership (P2C). Support and mentoring are provided for those working towards chartership. We encourage applications even if your experience does not meet every criterion as we hire people, not checklists.
Qualifications
Chartered status (CMLI) is desirable but not essential. Commitment to professional development and a positive attitude towards learning and growth are key.
